- Turn off your internet connection (important).
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation.
- Click on “Change product key”.
- Enter the following generic Windows 10 Pro upgrade key:
VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T - Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Your system will upgrade to Windows 10 Pro (it will remain unactivated for now).
- Turn your internet connection back on.
- Now enter the genuine Windows 10 Pro key you purchased to activate your system.

Installing Windows 10 Pro via Bootable USB
- Download the official Windows 10 Pro ISO from the Microsoft website.
- Create a bootable USB using Rufus or the Media Creation Tool.
- Boot your PC from the USB and start the installation process.
- When prompted, enter the product key you received.
- If you skip it, finish the installation and activate later via Settings.
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation.
- Click on “Change product key” and enter your license key.
- Click “Activate” to complete the activation.

- Open the Start menu and go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation.
- Click on “Change product key”.
- Enter the license key provided after purchase.
- Click “Activate” and your copy will be validated online.
